WHAT OUR CLIENTS HAVE TO SAY

"Tri State is one of our go-to contractors handling a broad variety of projects from small to large scale remodels," says Matt Medina, who estimates Tri State has been involved with nearly 50 projects for Albertsons over the past few years. "They have a wealth of knowledge and I always look to them when I have difficult or complex projects. Tri State makes decisions with the owners' interest in mind and puts relationships in front of profits."
Matt Medina - Director, Construction/ Maintenance, Southern California Division

"I have used tri-state for several projects over the last 5 years. These projects consisted of earthquake emergency repairs, maintenance repairs, minor remodels, Starbucks installs, and major remodels up to about 3M. They have performed well on these projects and delivered a quality results, they provided the attention and detail needed when working in an open retail facility. They have won many competitive bids and therefore have been given the chance to also complete design build and negotiated type projects. I would rate them high out of our corral of qualified GC’s."

Matt Medina - Director Construction/Maintenance, Southern California Division

Just to let you know…. We are lucky to have Colin with us on the Lynwood Project.

All the effort and workmanship that he has performed on site…  We couldn’t have asked for more.

I shared this information with William and we do agree Colin is the best Project Manager for our job and future projects.

Jimmy Lee - Project Manager/Purchasing Agent

It has been a pleasure working with you and your entire Tri State team. Even during minor grinding moments between us, we always ended realizing right away that both of us were after the same common goal.

You have delivered on your promise; on time with a really tight construction time frame and with a really screwed-up set of Plans! Great job!

Thank you Mr. Mason and the entire Tri State team From ALL of us at WSS.
We are looking forward to our next project together.

William Argueta - VICE PRESIDENT, REAL ESTATE

We can always count on Tri State for excellent service, not only on a current project but also when working on new opportunities.

Our experience with Tri State is that they are professional and very knowledgeable. Tri State’s team sincerely cares about customer’s business and operational goals for each project, and strives to deliver the results beyond customer’s expectations. They always consider client’s best interest first.

Dave & Tri State Team,

"Another perfect score on your compliance audit. This had additional complexities due to it being a HI project. Please appreciate the superintendents with responsibility for the project. Keep up the good work. Regards, Mat Adams, Wal-Mart Western Director of Construction

"I wanted to thank all of you guys for such an amazing job!  All of you have been so great.  I really appreciate the hard work and time away from your families to get this project done. It has been a pleasure working with all of you", says Angela Bill, Store Manager Wal-Mart Queen Creek, AZ

"Phenomenal work you guys, just outstanding. You guys went so far above and beyond just mind-blown,"  says Roxanne Ong, Construction Manager, Southern CA for Wal-Mart.

Tri State,

We all know meeting compliance requirements isn’t always the easiest task. However it was brought to my attention that your company went above and beyond the standard while working on project 3524-223-W/M-RM-3-CA-EL CAJON

Please share with your team what an awesome accomplishment this is, and how much I appreciate their hard work. Our Walmart Team was so impressed they would like to implement some of your teams best practices utilized on this project, which resulted in a perfect compliance score!!!

Please continue doing what you do best, and I look forward to seeing what other amazing works your team accomplishes.    Please find below your remarkable review.

“Rock Skeans said that not only did they get a perfect score but their best practices warrant bonus points and in fact he has requested for Tim Burton to send over to Walmart his open top checklist on what is not allowed in each container so he can officially roll it out to the rest of the Walmart program as an official item. They also label containers and cans on the lids indicating what date the product was first opened. “  Roxanne Ong – California Construction Manager

Thank you for your time and assistance,

Samantha Stroud - Project Manager – AZ, CO, NM, UT, WY

Supplier and Contract Management

"I have been in this business for a long time, so I mean this when I say this was one of the best crews I have worked with in my 32 year career. I had no stress because Brad and John were on top of their game. They took true ownership of this project and our team. If there was a problem they worked with the greatest sense of urgency to fix it. The quality of work was excellent if something did not look good they would make sure it got fixed. If something went wrong there was never any finger pointing. Brad and John would just say I will get right on it. I don't think I have ever had that happen, it was nice to have that level of cooperation. If I ever have your company on another project I will ask for Brad and John. Thank you for all you do. We do not tell you that enough. I look forward to working with you in the future".

RE: Shawn Bennett - Tri-State General Contractors

Dear Shawn,

Please allow me to take a moment to thank you for your personal hard work, high standards and extraordinary project oversight on the construction and re-launch of the City of Beaumont's Walmart at the Second Street Marketplace.

Beaumont may be growing but we are committed to keeping intact many of our "small town" values. That includes when our community stakeholders, such as you, take such pride in delivering quality work on time and within budget. This is no small task. It requires leaders such as yourself to ensure that delivering on the promise is as important today as ever.

Why is this so important? Our Walmart has become the "general store" of our community. It is the time of year when families such as yours are getting their kids ready for school and college. Busy families need quick and reliable access to products at prices that complement their lives. Your leadership delivered this resource back to community with a beautiful "new face" and easy access to pick up services that had not been there before.

You make us very proud to have you be part of our community and providing the leadership in your work that makes a difference for all of us. Please continue to be a part of all we do, we would be honored.

 Nancy Carroll Mayor

It is with pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Tri State General Contractors. We have worked with Tri State over the past year on various construction projects. They recently completed a major remodel, 10 week project in Lodi, CA and are currently working on a complicated, intense remodel in Yuba City, CA. Their team is doing a great job and is dedicated to completing our projects
"on time" and "on budget".

We have found Tri State to be very professional and proficient in their project management, as well as their day to day operation. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Tri State and working with them on future projects.

Sincerely,
Gregg Blake

"I have worked with the Tri State crew in various capacities over the past 18 years—as a client, as a design and construction partner, as a consultant, and as a group of friends.  I relied heavily on their team (they were part of another GC company at the time) when I was a PM at Albertsons years ago to get our projects built.  We have collaborated on many projects since I’ve been at TAIT as the design and construction team getting things done for our clients, and we’ve also been Tri State’s go-to architect when then need construction docs prepared on many of their design-build projects.  They are super-seasoned grocery store experts, they understand the complexities of phasing work, keeping the stores operational, and hitting projected opening dates.  And more importantly in my opinion, they are a very genuine, hard-working, ethical group of people who are more focused on the overall relationship than anything else".
